Welcome to the BDML
Welcome to the Beat Down Madden Football League (BDML). We are a diverse collaberation of minds interested in Xbox 360 sports games and other genres. It is our mission to provide “simulation” style play, sportsmanship, and strategy.
The BDML is a Madden 10 “simulation” online franchise league which consists of 32 human controlled teams. We are committed to the use of Madden 10 to create a fun, challenging atmosphere of respect and communication. It is often said that a league is only as good as the owners that it is comprised of. Our owners are without exception the integral foundation of this league.
Expectations are high as owners are responsible for their teams from contract and salary cap management to trades and depth chart changes. We play two games per calendar week generally advancing every 5th. We partake in all offseason activities such as free-agency, the NFL draft, and training camps. In the BDML, you are in control of your team’s destiny.

| A: | We use 10 minute quarters, All-Pro skill level, with 15 sec clock run off. |
| Q: | How many days does this league wait before advancing? |
| A: | We advance every 5 days, on a routinely schedule. |
| Q: | How many users play in this league? |
| A: | This league requires 32 active owners. |
| Q: | Does the BDML use active rosters or fantasy drafted rosters? |
| A: | We start with the current NFL rosters. |
| Q: | Are trades allowed between users in this league? |
| A: | Yes, we do allow trades. We have a section in the message board for trade negotiations should you be interested in one. We do honor the NFL trade deadline (week 6) as well. |
| Q: | I haven’t played in an Online Franchise before, what do I have to do to get set up? |
| A: | We can assist you if you’re interested but don’t know where to begin. |
| Q: | Can I enter this online franchise? And how? |
| A: | Yes you can, just visit the forum to post your PSN ID, email address, YIM, and team of interest. We will contact you providing league information and will set up a try-out game. |
| Q: | What if I am interested in joining but there are no open positions available at the time? |
| A: | Act as if there is an open position and sign up on the message board. Post your information and we can put you on the immediate waiting list should a position arise. |
