Week 8: Top Seeds Duke it Out

We’re reaching the halfway point of the season and the playoff picture looks like it is finally showing. Many top rated teams are going at each other this week and few teams are looking to get must-wins, or you can bet that they are out of it!
1.) Seahawks (ol THE DREAM lo; 5-1) @ Panthers (sqeak5; 5-1)
Sunday, 4:15PM
If you don’t get this game because you don’t live in the region, you better get some DirectTV or the NFL Network or something: watch it on a live webshow if you have to. Both of these teams are coming off strong wins taking down the Bucs and the Packers. This is probably going to be the battle to take the top seed in the NFC this postseason (not unless the Cowboys or Eagles have anything to say about that).
2.) Jets (SMXtreme; 5-1) @ Steelers (steelerguy26; 5-2)
Sunday, 4:15 PM
The other game you should be watching around the same time as the Seattle, Carolina game is this one. The Jets, in probably the closest division yet, is just barely leading the Patriots due to points scored. On the other hand, the Steelers are neck and neck with rival Ravens and both of these teams are looking to take the AFC North. However, the Jets and Steelers are going to duke it out to see which team will be leading their division after this week or the other trailing in the Wild Card spot.
3.) Dolphins (Mastershake jr3; 3-3) @ Patriots (mlucky666; 5-1)
Sunday. 1:00 PM
The Jets, as well as other teams in the AFC, are praying that the Dolphins get the job done against the Patriots this week. Even for the Dolphin’s sake. If they end up losing, it’s going to be very tough climbing back up with the division leaders they have.
4.) Chargers (Pacalon; 3-3) @ Colts (hasemanjs; 2-4)
Sunday, 4:05 PM
These two teams finally collide to show which QB is best in their new uniforms. Peyton Manning, wearing the thunder stripes, is looking relatively well so far and progressing better than the Colts and Philip Rivers. This is going to be one of those classic duels and expect to see 30+ points scored on both sides of the field.
5.) Lions (dead eater001; 4-3) @ Vikings (1-6; BigRed8592)
Sunday, 1:00 PM
You may be thinking “What?”. Honestly, as the Vikings owner, I am too. Vikings haven’t won a single game since Week 1 of the season and in their last meeting the Lions were able to easily take out the Vikings. The issue here is that WR Percy Harvin is out a month and the Vikings playoff hopes are slowly slipping away. With AP finally making some moves, Stafford is looking to make another amazing performance yet again to break the Viking’s hope of the playoffs.
Honorable Mention: Eagles (CPU; 5-1) @ Titans (Treym3; 5-1)
Sunday, 1:00 PM
There’s no doubt about it that this is one of the must watch games of the week, just that with lacking a new owner, the Eagles are looking for a beating taking on the hot Tennessee Titans, who look to start another winning streak after taking down the Jaguars.

saweet.. With the Steelers/Jets/Pats/Titans/Ravens/Chiefs all sitting at either 5-1 or 5-2, the Colts have alot of work to do in very little time.. We have come to an understanding that we cannot keep losing games or there will be “NO” playoff picture..
